2014 Trailwest Spring Clean Up!
Saturday, April 26th @ 9:00am – 1:00pm
(Rain Date: Sunday, April 27th)

Let's get together to clean up the path and ravine!

Board members will be around at 9:00am on both sides of Cope distributing gloves and garbage bags provided by the city. Please bring your rubber boots as it might be soggy! We’ll need some volunteers to muck through the ravine. If you have a wagon, it might be a good idea to throw your recycling bin and garbage bag in it. It will make it easier to wheel down the path.

If you are on Facebook, Please check out the event on the Trailwest Facebook page and register if you are joining us. That way we will know if we have enough supplies.

CIBC will be hosting a BBQ at 1:00pm to thank the volunteers! Join them in the CIBC Fernbank parking lot.

Let's get our path cleaned up so we can enjoy it this summer!

Rink Wrap-up

The first season for Trailwest's Kristina Kiss Park ice rink was a huge success. Although we didn't officially track usage, it was widely noted that, on days where the weather permitted (and there were a lot of them!) there were generally people on the ice from morning to night.

Without question, the highlight of the season was the first annual Trailwest SkateFest on January 18 – both turnout and weather were terrific. Sponsored by CIBC, it was a great opportunity to come out and enjoy some coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts, as well as meet our neighbours. We’re already looking forward to next year.
